CASA, Northwestern College and Iowa
Justice For our Neighbors (JFON) are co-sponsoring a low-cost a DACA Legal Clinic to assist
with applications on Sat.
12/1/12 from 10am-4pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Sioux Center.
A$65 donation is suggested.
The DACA clinic is a low-cost immigration clinic for
undocumented immigrants. These immigrants are required to be between 16-30
years of age, and they have to have been in the United States for the last 5
years. People that can apply have to be working on their education, graduated
from college, serving in the military, or have served in the military. The
DACA program will not be providing them with citizenship, but it will guarantee
that they cannot be deported for 2 years. This will provide them with an
opportunity to get a temporary two year work visa.
